As for how she would compare her and Pete’s characters in Bodies Bodies Bodies to the one in their new Peacock show?
“The relationship’s a lot less toxic in Bupkis than it is in Bodieswhich is a lot more fun to play,” Chase noted. “But even in Bodieswe would do all those dark scenes and then we’d be like, ‘This sh-t’s crazy! This is so dark.'”
In BupkisChase plays Nikki, Pete’s on-again, off-again girlfriend. The relationship bears an authenticity that Chase appreciates, giving viewers a very different glimpse into Pete’s dating life.
“We’re playing complicated people who have a deep, deep love for one another just trying to figure themselves out along the way and be delicate with each other,” the Generation actress added. “That’s where the beauty comes in.”
Catch a glimpse of Chase and Pete’s on-screen chemistry in season one of Bupkisnow streaming on Peacock.
