Nawazuddin Siddiqui is India’s one of the most versatile actors who is popularly known for his roles in Bollywood films such as Kahani (2012), Kick (2014), Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2016), Mom (2017), Serious Men (2020) and Afwaah (2023).

Born on May 19, 1974, in Budhana, Uttar Pradesh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui initially worked as a chemist and later pursued acting, graduating from the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi. He made his film debut with a small role in Aamir Khan’s Sarfarosh (1999) but gained recognition with his breakthrough role as Faizal Khan in the 2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur.

His portrayal of complex and unconventional characters in films like The Lunchbox (2013), Badlapur (2015) and Manto (2018) garnered him critical acclaim. He has also ventured into international cinema and has acted in films like Lion (2016). He is also popularly known for his performance as gangster Ganesh Gaitonde in the web series Sacred Games.
