Sameer Wankhede is in the dock facing allegations of bribery from the CBI. Now, a leaked conversation between Shah Rukh Khan and Sameer Wankhede is doing the rounds. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan spent close to 25 days at the Arthur Road Prison of Mumbai. In the chat, Shah Rukh Khan apparently requests the then NCB honcho Sameer Wankhede “to go soft on his son”. Sameer Wankhede has submitted the documents in Mumbai High Court. Shah Rukh Khan’s chat reads, “Please man I beg you, there is nothing from my side that is in vested interest” He further tells the officers, “Please man don’t make him pay for these *** and vested people. I beg you man please. It’s a larger thing my son and my family I swear play no part in it. CBI has placed charges of corruption on some officers of the NCB. They have accused Sameer Wankhede of demanding bribe of Rs 25 crores for not framing Aryan Khan in the drugs case of 2021. The agency is claiming that they closed the deal of Rs 18 crores. The agency has said that Wankhede is the owner of huge properties which are beyond the capacity of his legal sources of income.
