Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan go way back with their friendship. To those unaware, Karan was an assistant director for one of Shah Rukh’s biggest hits to date – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. However, what a lot of people might have not known is that the filmmaker at that time was also given the responsibility of taking care of SRK’s wardrobe for the film.
Post that film, there were several other SRK films like Om Shanti Om, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, and Main Hoon Na – to name a few, where he was also appointed as the costume designer.
